Air-Parts BV has moved to Molenaarsgraaf

For decades we were located in Alphen aan den Rijn, but now we moved to the building in the rural Molenaarsgraaf of sister company Havé-Digitap. As a result, our joint knowledge is even better bundled, our communication lines are even shorter and our customers can be served even better.

New Genesys + ™: 5 kW in 1U – Great power in compact housing

Air-Parts BV is proud to present the first model from the latest series of programmable DC power supplies with high power density: the 5 kW, 1U model of the TDK Lambda Genesys + ™ series.

By using DSP (Digital Signal Processing) technology it was possible to achieve double the power density compared to the existing Genesys ™ 5 kW 2U. With weight less than 7 kg and 1U high, 19 ” (483 mm) wide rack housing makes this unit the most compact 5 kW power supply currently available.

In addition to the compact housing, this new series offers new benefits for the users:

  • The high contrast LCD display has an improved reading and longer life thanks to user adjustable brightness and dimming functions.
  • By adjusting voltage and slew rate, the response times for up / down programming can be shortened which increases the reaction speed.
  • Profiles of arbitrary waveforms up to 100 steps, such as the simulation of a battery when starting a car, can be generated.
  • Two output pins (“open drain”) to be programmed by the user are available to control external devices or modules, such as relays to disconnect the load.
  • New, unique and advanced system to connect up to 4 Genesys + ™ units very easily in parallel. The dynamic response and performance in terms of ripple and noise of this combination are comparable to those of a single unit.
  • Anybus CompactCom interface platform to enable different interface options if needed, for example Devicenet, Ethercat, Modbus and Profibus. A complete package of software drivers, waveform creator and a virtual front panel GUI is available.
  • When only remote control is required, the version of the Genesys +™ can be supplied with a blank front panel.

The 5 kW, 1U Genesys +™ is initially available with 5 different voltages and has a three-phase input power.

In order to use the new Genesys +™ models in addition to the existing GENESY™ and Z + models; they use the same communication protocols and signals, which means that they remain perfectly compatible.

Of course the power supplies comply with current standards and guidelines.

The Genesys +™ series is aimed at a very wide market area, from component testing, aviation and automotive, to semiconductor industry, water treatment, electroplating and solar panel simulation.

One Oscilloscope, Two Domains, 4-in-1 device, starting from € 820,-

The new MDO-2000E series is a multi-functional mixed domain oscilloscope.

The series includes two feature combinations: MDO-2000EG and MDO-2000EX.

MDO-2000EG models have a built-in spectrum analyzer and a dual channel 25MHz arbitrary waveform generator and MDO-2000EX models feature a built-in spectrum analyzer, arbitrary waveform generator, a 5,000 count DMM, and a dual 5V/1A power supply.

The first of its kind, MDO-2000EX is the only oscilloscope equipped with a DMM and a power supply in the T&M industry.

While entering the spectrum mode, MDO-2000E series will display a full screen frequency domain. Users can input Center frequency, Span, Start frequency, and Stop frequency based upon test requirements so as to rapidly and intuitively observe required frequency range that allows users to experience the user interface of a real spectrum analyzer. While observing the frequency domain display, engineers can observe waveform characteristics, which are not easily to be seen from time domain waveforms, for instance, the harmonic composition of a waveform and the frequency characteristics of a modulation signal.

Compared with oscilloscope’ FFT mode, MDO-2000E series allows engineers to effectively conduct signal measurements in frequency domain.

GW INSTEK PSU-HV SERIES

The reason for launching the PSU-HV series is to complete the existing PSU series and to satisfy high voltage application demands, allowing the augmented PSU series to cover a voltage range from 6V to 600V. PSU-HV series has a functional design high power density characteristics, 1U height appearance and a maximum power ranging from 1500 to 1560 watts.

The new PSU-HV series is ideal for the primary input of DC/DC converter and servomotor production application. PSU is often integrated into component test systems such as aging test equipment for capacitors; 600V DC bias applications; aging test equipment for diode; semiconductor production equipment; automotive electronics; and ECU for V8 engine or V12 engine.

These 1U power supplies support a complete array of interfaces, including USB, LAN, RS-232, RS-485, analog control interface, GPIB (option), isolated analog interface (voltage control), and isolated analog interface (current control).

GW INSTEK GDS-3000 series oscilloscopes

The GDS-3000 Series oscilloscopes have 4-input channels, with a 500MHz bandwidth, 5GSa/s sampling rate and VPO waveform display. The split screen feature has been designed to meet the requirements of multi-window and multi-signal tests in the research and manufacturing fields. The optional power analysis software and the optional serial bus analysis software are available to facilitate the engineer’s tasks in testing and manufacturing of associated products.

The Serial Bus Analysis software of the GDS-3000 Series carries complete analysis tools for triggering and decoding of commonly used serial bus interfaces, including I2C, SPI and UART. Without spending time to study serial bus regulation details, the user only needs to set the trigger condition on GDS-3000 to get the data slots of interest (only 4 channel models support SPI function).

Air-Parts BV introduces the 800W model TDK Lambda Z + Series

Just like the 200W and 400W models, the 800W version of this High Voltage Programmable DC power supply is available with voltages up to 160, 320 or 650Vdc. This new power supply is perfect for applications such as ROV’s, ATE systems, vapor deposition processes, as well as general laboratories and industrial applications.

The 800W model is extremely compact (2U), the same as all Z + series power supplies.  It has a universal input (85-265Vac), an efficiency up to 89% and has a 5-year warranty. All Z + models can be used in both constant current and constant voltage mode. To further achieve more power, it can be linked up to six power supplies in parallel in master / slave combination. In order to increase the output voltage, or to create a bipolar output, it can be linked up to 2 identical external power supplies in series with diodes.

Regarding the programmability; nothing has changed. Locally you van use the front panel or remotely via the standard built-in USB, RS232 / 485 or analog inputs. Optionally there is also LAN, GPIB (IEEE488) and isolated analog interface available.

The power supplies are CE certified, comply with the LV (low voltage), RoHS Directives, the EN55022 / EN55024, IEC / EN61326-1 for conduction (FCC part-15-B, VCCI-B) and appearance (FCC part -15-A and VCCI-A) EMI. Safety approvals include UL / EN / IEC61010-1 and the Z + high-voltage series is designed to meet UL / EN60950-1.

The newest model of the 800 Series DC Hipot testers Haefely HIPOTRONICS is the digital 880PL DC hipot tester (hoogspaningstester) with a test range of up to 80kV, 10mA. The 880PL-DC comes up with the highest output-to-weight ratio of any DC hipot tester (suitcase version) on the market today.

The 880PL DC hipot tester has an intuitive, user-friendly operation, displayed on a large 7-inch color touch screen. The hipot test sequences can be programmed in automatic or manual mode by simply selecting the test voltage. The new tester is also provided with data acquisition software for the export of the test results via USB.

The 880PL-DC includes extensive safety features, including external interlocks, built-in security, visible and audible warning indicators, and an easily accessible emergency stop button to ensure safe operation under all circumstances.

Multifunctional production tester LED lighting

LED manufacturers can now use the most advanced low-power multi-function tester, with which capacities can be measured less than 1000VA with a resolution of 200mVA. Thanks to the better resolution at low power, the LED manufacturer with CLARE HALL LED made by Seaward is able to do a better exit control test for their lighting products .

LED manufacturers can execute a complete end-of-line testing. It is also possible to perform a functional test, to ensure the proper operation of the lighting.

During this functional test can, due to an improved resolution of 200mVA, a perfect quality control can be excecuted. By comparing the measured values ​​with the permissible limits the LED manufacturer knows that all components, including LED drivers are installed during production. For example, the LED manufacturer can assure its customers, that the final product meets the expected efficiency.

With the CLARE HALL LED multifunction tester you can also be check whether the light complies with the safety requirements of key standards, like BS EN 60598 which deals with the safety of lighting systems, such as light fixtures, lamps and fluorescent lamps.

The Clare HAL LED combines the power of a multifunctional production tester with a meter for load and power factor, therefore the  energy consumption can be measured and classified.

Leakage and touch current, insulation resistance and ground testing can be performed individually or incorporated into an automatic test program. The tester can be integrated into a fully automated test system with selectable sensors and safety devices, or by making use of remote PCs and PLCs.
All tests and results can be stored in the internal memory of the tester, which makes full traceability possible.
